South Mountain Team Heading to Global Finals

After placing first in the state competition Saturday, the elementary school's Destination Imagination Team is set to head to Knoxville, Tenn.

One of South Mountain School’s Destination Imagination Teams placed first during the New Jersey state competition held at Robbinsville High School this past weekend.

The team, "Six Laughs," will be traveling to Knoxville, Tenn. to compete in the Global Finals over Memorial Day weekend along with over 1,200 teams from teams from 45 states, 7 Canadian provinces and 13 countries who will gather to showcase their Challenge solutions.

“This is a very proud moment for us at South Mountain," Principal Scott Wolfe said. "All of the teams did a tremendous job, and we are so proud of all of the hard work that they all put into this activity, and the bonds that they have formed with their teammates.”
