St. Rose of Lima Church in Short Hills held three Masses on Tuesday in remembrance of the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Fr. Chris Beirne presided at the evening liturgy service and Millburn Fire Chief, Mike Roberts was present to toll a bell in memory of those whose lives were lost. Prayers were offered to advance efforts for peace in our world. Family members and loved ones of those who died were also remembered in prayer.
