Storm Looks To Hit Millburn-Short Hills During Holiday Travel
Heavy winds, thunder storms and lots of rain likely to cause problems for travelers coming in and out of Millburn and Short Hills.

A giant storm system is now gathering and forecasters said Sunday that it could wallop an area from the Midwest to the Eastern Seaboard with heavy rains and wind gusts of 50 MPH just in time for holiday travel.
While the storm is not expected to bring heavy snow as winter storm Cato did for Thanksgiving, flooding on the ground and delays in air travel are expected, according to Weather.com, which called the potential for the storm “very serious.”
Residents in Millburn-Short Hills who are hoping for a White Christmas will be disappointed. Temperatures on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be in the lower to mid 50s, despite heavy rains, according to Weather.com.
