Star Wars Reads Day

 Saturday, Oct. 6 from 2 - 4 p.m., Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker St, Maplewood. 

Activities, demos and workshops for the whole family. Come in costume! Crafts for all ages, Lego Build-a-Thon, Robotics Club demo, Star Wars bookstore presented by Words Bookstore. Light Saber Workshops with the Padawan Training Academy, Trivia contest & prizes

Livingston Daffodil Day

Saturday, Oct. 6 from 1 - 3 p.m., the Oval, Livingston High School, 30 Robert H Harp Dr, Livingston

Members of the community, families, seniors, service organizations and alumni or college students visiting for the October Homecoming Weekend will gather at the Gazebo for Daffodil Day and help plant bulbs around the Oval.  This event is part of the preparation for the Livingston Bicentennial 2013.

Guided Tours of Greenwood Gardens

Environmental Eagles

Environmental Eagles - 1st– 12th graders
Environmental Classes for youth that appreciate learning about the outdoors and their surrounding resources. Learn about the Arboretum's animals and do projects that allow for outdoor educational learning.

GIFT (Get Innovative For Tomorrow) Productions, based in Maplewood, organizes and promotes concert benefit shows to raise money for arts and music programs for underserved children. This show will feature artists Jaclyn Dima and the Shakey Tables, Liat, and Maplewood/South Orange's own 8bit. 100% of ticket sales will benefit the South Mountain YMCA after school arts and music program.
