Annual Tour De Millburn Is Announced For 2022
Last year's bike ride was postponed due to Storm Ida, but the annual event is back for 2022, with recommended routes for kids and seniors.

MILLBURN, NJ —Last year's Tour de Millburn community bike ride was postponed a month after Storm Ida flooded the area, but that didn't stop the annual event, and it's back again for 2022.
This year's ride has been scheduled for mid-September, with recommended routes for seniors and for families with kids.
The "beloved and family friendly event that celebrates safe biking in Millburn and Short Hills" has three possible routes, the town noted.

The ride is slated for Sept. 18, 2022, with routes starting at 8 a.m., 8:30, and 9 a.m.
- The 15-mile ride, recommended for advanced cyclists 16 and over who have experience with long bike rides and elevation changes, starts at 8.
- The 7-mile ride, recommended only for those 10 and up with bike experience, starts at 8:30.
- The 2-mile ride should take 30-50 minutes to complete. It's recommended for children, families, and seniors. It starts at 9 a.m.
Registration is required to participate. Residents may use their CommunityPass accounts to sign up. Additional information will follow as the event date approaches.
