• Man, 86, Fatally Struck While Checking His Mail In South Jersey: Police (patch.com) — An 86-year-old Millville resident was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday evening while crossing Wheaton Avenue to check his mailbox, according to city police. The driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment, and investigators are asking anyone who saw the crash near Ladow Avenue to contact Millville Police Sgt. Gavin Phillips.
