Seven-month-old Dharma and Karma were dropped off at the Montclair Township Animal Shelter's doorstep a few months ago. These rambunctious cats are sisters (Karma has the darker face), love to play with one another and, of course, always come running when treats are being handed out.

Montclair NAACP Hosts Student NJ ACT-SO Awards on April 21

The Montclair Branch of the NAACP will announce the student winners who competed in the New Jersey State Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics on Saturday at Central High School in Newark, located at 246 18th Ave.

A ceremony honoring the student winners will also be held at Montclair High School on April 21 at 2 p.m. in the Montclair High School auditorium.
