Visual Tour of Borneo Brings Exotic Avians to Montclair
The images will also showcase monkeys, butterflies and flowers.

Bird watchers often visit Borneo to see the popular bird species native to the region, but world-travler and educator Marjorie Barrett also offers an intimate glimpse at its unique natural life in her presentation to the Montclair Bird Club.
“Borneo: More than Just Birds” will take place Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Union Congregational Church, located 176 Cooper Avenue in Montclair, and will feature wildlife from places such as Kipandi Butterfly Park, Sepilok Jungle Resort, Rainforest Discovery Center, Gomantong Caves, Sukau Rainforest Lodge, Borneo Rainforest Lodge and Kinabalu National Park.
The visual tour will take the audience up close with monkeys, butterflies and a giant orangutan with a focus on the sought-after bird varieties. The images include foliage like the world’s largest pitcher plant the Rafflesia, a flower native to Malaysia.
