Glenfield Middle School Celebrates Black History Month
More than 30 members of the community took part in the school's annual career day.
Glenfield Middle School's 14th annual African American Career Day was held Feb. 15 in celebration of Black History Month.
More than 30 members of the community participated in the career day, including Montclair Mayor Robert Jackson, Senator Nia Gill (D-34), and state Senate candidate Mark Alexander.

In addition, the middle school hosted an assembly featuring actor Andre Braugher of the film "Glory" and television show "Last Restort," and filmmaker Dawn Porter whose documentary "Gideon's Army" was an award-winner at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
The guests were interviewed Glenfield parent Kuae Mattox, a journalist formerly with NBC and Miami Herald.
