Jazz House Kids Perform at Trumpets Jazz Club

Students from the Jazz House Kids Summer Workshop in Montclair performed at Trumpets Jazz Club in Montclair on Thursday night, August 14, in small ensemble groups. To view more photos from this performance, please view this album.

Students are under the artistic direction of jazz great Christian McBride and spend two weeks studying jazz, learning theory, practicing jazz and performing through the summer workshop program held in Montclair.

The two-week workshop will culminate with the students playing at the Montclair Jazz Festival, on Saturday, August 16 at Nishuane Park.
