March for Babies Sunday in Brookdale Park
March of Dimes fundraiser intended to help premature babies.

Join us at March for Babies, the March of Dimes’ largest fundraiser, and the oldest and best-loved walking event. It’s a family-friendly event where the community comes together to raise money to support research, services, education and advocacy in the fight against prematurity, birth defects and infant mortality.
When you walk, you give hope to the babies born too soon or sick. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies, and it funds research to find answers to the serious problems that threaten our babies. We've been walking since 1970 and have raised an incredible $2.6 billion! Join the more than 7 million people who participate, donate and/or sponsor. Register to walk at marchforbabies.org.

Hundreds of energized New Jersey residents dedicated to giving babies a healthy start in life, including business teams, community leaders and families of premature babies.
In New Jersey, over 100,000 babies are born annually – and 12,419 of them are born too soon. Premature babies often spend their first weeks in the NICU fighting for life, and often have lasting consequences such as vision and hearing loss or learning disabilities.
March of Dimes is the champion for all babies, those born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive. Moms can rely on March of Dimes for everything they need to know about having a healthy baby and how to recognize the warning signs of premature labor.
This year, the March of Dimes celebrates its 75th anniversary and its ongoing work to help all babies get a healthy start in life. More than 4 million babies were born in the United States last year, and the March of Dimes has helped each and every one through research, education, vaccines, and breakthroughs.
