Master Plan Talks Continue, South End Plans Clean-Up, Dr. Richard Besser Appears at Watchung Booksellers

The Montclair Planning Board will hold its second public hearing on the Unified Land Use and Circulation Element of the Master Plan on Monday, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers at 205 Claremont Ave.

Montclair Public Schools Superintendent Penny MacCormack will share what she has learned during her “90-day listening and learning tour” at a Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) meeting on Monday, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Hillside Elementary School.

The Montclair Environmental Affairs office and Community Green present “Waking the Green Tiger” as part of the Green Film Series on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Montclair Public Library. Free.

The township will microchip dogs and cats Wednesday at the Rabies Clinic to be held at the Harrison Avenue firehouse. Details here.

National Bike to Work Day is Friday.

The Montclair BID will hold its spring art walk — A Little Night Art — on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. A total of 26 venues will be showcasing art during the free self-guided tours.  

A clean-up effort and Nishuane School's Mayfair will take place in the South End on Saturday. 

Five Montclair homeowners will swing open their doors on Sunday, May 19 for the Junior League of Montclair-Newark’s House Tour & Boutique.
