Mommies 24/7 Website Launches in Montclair

Montclair moms now have a new place to meet and share tips.

Mommies 24/7, the one-stop website for all mom needs, launched in Montclair this week. Montclair is the fourth site in the Mommies 24/7 family, following Hoboken and Summit, and Nutley. 

“I want this to be a place where any mom can go to share her experiences," said owner and editor of the Montclair Mommies 24/7 site Jaime Molinaro. “If one mom is going through something, there's always another mom going through it too.”

Mommies 24/7 publishes original content and tailors social networking for moms who want to find more information on parenting and local news, businesses and events.

Moms can create free profiles, meet and share tips whether they're raising toddlers, teenagers or anything in between. Expecting moms and couples planning to start a family will find plenty, too.

Molinaro said she was looking to expand the informal moms group she started with her friend, Erin Goldin, when she discovered Mommies 24/7.

“We had been looking to start a mommy networking group via Facebook, and then I saw how Mommies 24/7 could take it to next level,” she said. 

Molinaro contacted Mommies 24/7 founder Sarah Himmelbaum, whose inaugural Hoboken site has already reached 4,900 moms since launching last February.

“I knew that Jamie would be aperfect fit the minute I met her,” Himmelbaum said. “She has tremendous energy, and I know she will run an amazing website for the moms in Nutley and Montclair.”

Molinaro lives in Nutley but also knows Montclair well. She and her husband Chris raise two daughters, ages four and 19 months.

“I love that every day is different when you’re a mom,” she said. “You have these little people who love you more than anything in the world.”
