Montclair Art Museum Visits Inspires Young Artists
Pre-schoolers from Watchung Cooperative Preschool take part in "Color and Line" program.
Three-year-olds from Watchung Cooperative Preschool in Montclair visited the Montclair Art Museum earlier this month for the program "Color and Line."
Students were led through the galleries by a docent. While they looked at abstract paintings and sculptures they were asked to name the colors and shapes they saw.
“The tour was perfect for this age group,” teacher Anneliese Scherfen said in a release. “They didn’t talk down to the kids, but still kept it at their level.”
