Montclair Arts Council Name and Logo Contest
The winning logo will be used for promotional collateral and all future live produced events.

The Montclair Arts Council is looking for a new name and logo and is calling on local artists for inspiration.
MAC's New Name and Logo Contest will run from April 1 through Sept. 30. The winner will be announced at the First Annual Montclair Music & Arts Awards Gala in October.
Greg Spinelli, MAC treasurer and business manager, said in a press release, "A [sizable] community of artists reside in Montclair and the MAC would like to tap into that talent pool by inviting one and all to participate in this opportunity to create a new logo and assist with the re-branding of the arts council."

The contest is open to Montclair residents of ages, and those attending schools in town or Montclair State University.
Images may be created by one individual or a group of individuals. More than one image may be submitted by each artist or creative team.

Artists under 18 must have permission from parent or guardian which may be submitted electronically when artwork is submitted. Parental permission will be verified.
When submitting your design, include name, address, email address and phone number.
Contestants can submit their designs via email to to montclairartscouncil@gmail.com in high quality JPEG format.
The winning logo will be used for promotional collateral and all future live produced events.
"The winning artist will receive local media coverage which will feature information about the artist and links to his or her website and a biography," said MAC President Meg Beattie Patrick in a press release.
"The winning artist's signature or maker's mark will be visible, in addition to the copyright mark, whenever the image is used in any form by the arts council."
