Montclair Democrats to Honor Cory Booker at Annual Dinner

The Montclair Democratic County Committee Annual Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday Oct. 23, at Valley Regency in Clifton.

This year the Committee will honor Senator Cory Booker, community groups HOMECorps and Jazz House Kids, Congressional candidate Mark Dunec, and Kevin Walsh, a long time member of the Committee.

The dinner will be held on Thursday, October 23 from 6:30 p.m. till 9:30 p.m., at Valley Regency located at 1129 Valley Road in Clifton.

U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Freeholder Brendan Gill, Chairman of the Montclair Democratic County Committee, Mark Dunec and other Democratic candidates for office will be in attendance.

“We’re only weeks away from a critical election and we are excited to have Senator Cory Booker join us to get Democrats fired-up,” stated Chairman Brendan Gill. “This event also gives us a chance to recognize community organizations that make Montclair such a great town, and we look forward to honoring HOMECorps and Jazz House Kids.”

“Our annual awards dinner is a great opportunity for people in our community to honor Montclair’s incredible community groups and support our Democratic elected leaders and new candidates,” stated Tanya Poteat, Vice Chair of the Montclair Democratic County Committee. “We’re looking forward to a great event and we welcome all to join us.”
