The Montclair Special Education Parent Advisory Council will meet tonight, April 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Edgemont Elementary School, located at 25 Maple Ave.

The night's topic will be supporting the development of self-regulation. Montclair State University Professor Corinne Catalano will discuss how a child's self-regulation develops and the ways this can be supported. She will also talk about how to help children understand how they learn and teach them self-advocacy and decision-making skills for success with their own learning.

All are welcome to the meeting. Bring your questions and suggestions. Refreshments and child care will be provided by Montclair State University graduate education and Montclair High School Key Club students. Due to potential food allergies, we request that no food be brought into the child care room.
