Insider's View on Today's Media Presented at Montclair State Tuesday

PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger will host this discussion at the university on March 19.

Get an insider's view on today's media landscape at a discussion led by Public Broadcasting Service President and CEO of Paula Kerger at Montclair State University on Tuesday, March 19. 

Montclair State's School of Communication and Media and NJTV will present the discussion at 7:30 p.m. in the Jed Leshowitz Recital Hall housed in the John J. Cali School of Music, located at 1 Normal Ave.

The event is free and open to the public.

Joining Kerger for the discussion will be Merrill Brown, director of the university’s school of communication and media.

“We are extremely honored to welcome Paula to Montclair State University, as she has been a champion to the promotion of media and the arts for many years now,” said Brown.

Kerger is president of the nation’s largest non-commercial media organization with more than 350 member stations throughout the country. She joined PBS as its sixth CEO in March 2006. Kerger is also the recipient of numerous acclaim and awards, and is regularly mentioned in the Hollywood Reporter’s “Women in Entertainment Power 100."
