Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church Seeks Participants for 75th Year Anniversary Service
The theme for the service is Following the Path of the Way. Moving Forward with Intentional Faith.
The Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church’s Deacons Ministry is extending an invitation for participants to take part in its “Forever Friends” service in honor of the church’s 75th year.
The service will be held Sunday,September 28, beginning at 3:30 p.m. at 27 Monroe Place, Montclair. The Rev.Elizabeth Jackson Campbell is pastor.
“We are seeking individuals who have enjoyed a relationship with our church over the years to be on the program for this special celebration--visitors, neighbors, former members, and others,” notes Calvin Jackson, chair of the Deacon’s Ministry. “Share a story from the past, an experience from today, or a prayer for tomorrow. Poetry, music, song, sacred dance, testimonies, and words of inspiration are welcome.”
