1) Check out the free wine tasting at Magnolia's from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This week there's a red from Italy and a white from Argentina.

2) Maribyrd plays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Terra at 10 Church Street.
3) Flowers and Light Photography Workshoip at Van Vleck House and Gardens from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Advance registration is required. Go here or call 973-744-4752 to register.

4) Take your kids to the Montclair Public LIbrary at 11 a.m. for Canciones: Hispanic Music for Kids ages 3 and up.

1) The Montclair Historical Society is offering tours of the Israel Crane and Nathaniel Crane Houses at 1 p.m. and 2pm; Charles Shultz House (Evergreens) at 3 p.m.
2) Also, find out about volunteer opportunities at the Montclair Historical Society between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Light refreshments will be served at 108 Orange Road. Advance registration required. Call 973-744-1796 or email mail@montclairhistorical.org.
3) From 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy Sunday Afternoon at the Opera featuring mezzo soprano Katy Sumrow accompanied by SRO Artistic Director Dita Delman at Van Vleck House & Gardens. Seating is limited and reservations are required. A donation of $10 per person is requested. All proceeds go towards the care and maintenance of the Van Vleck House & Gardens. 1) The Victorian Society of Northern New Jersey is hosting a lecture by Michael Farrelly, Township Historian, on Victorians in Montclair & More at the Montclair Women's Club, 82 Union Street.
— Tuesday, September 21
1) Go down and check out Peak Performances' Everywhere Is the Best Seat, a one-of-a-kind sound and light installation by architect/composer Christopher Janney, conceived specifically for the Montclair State Amphitheater. Runs 24/7 through November 14.
2) Memoir: Learn to Write Your Life Story at the Montclair Public Library. Event occurs every three weeks on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. in the library's young adult area. Writer/teacher Zella R.P. Geltman facilitates this ongoing program. The group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month, from 1:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bring a pen or pencil and writing paper. There is no charge. 1) Go by the Montclair Public Library and view Jersey Fresh Artists 10: an exhibit featuring artist all living and working in New Jersey, ranging from the professional to the novice, including photography, painting, multi-media, and clay work.

1) Stop by Watchung Booksellers at 7 p.m. for a program on how, in today's digital world, you can get young people excited about reading a book. Authors Tracey Baptiste, Susanna Reich, and Crystal Velasquez will discuss the craft and business of writing for the children's market.
2) Hear The Franklin Brothers at Ruthie's Bar-B-Q.
