Five-Year Demographic Study Presentation to Be Held By Montville

The results of a Five-Year Demographic Study will be presented on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 7:30 PM in the Montville Township High School auditorium.

The community at large is invited to attend this meeting.

The purpose of this meeting is for the Montville Township Board of Education and members of the community to listen to a presentation by Dr. Richard Grip, of Statistical Forecasting LLC. The presentation will examine the results of the most recent demographic study that was conducted for the Montville Township Public Schools. This study provides enrollment projections for each of the district's seven schools through the 2026-2027 school year and addresses the impact of potential new housing to be constructed in the community and the expected student yields from these housing projects.

The report provides an overview of expected changes in school-aged population at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Also to be discussed is the impact of any changes in enrollment on the utilization of each of the district schools.

A copy of the full Demographic Study Report will be posted on the district website, www.montville.net, following the presentation by Dr. Grip.
