Montville Recreation Beginner Pickleball Lessons
Join the craze! Learn the basics of Pickleball and how the game is played.
The Montville Recreation Department is sponsoring PICKLEBALL LESSONS for Adult, Beginner and Advanced Beginner Players.
Classes will cover: Learning the Basics of Pickleball (Rules, Rotations and Scoring), Incorporates open play to learn “how to play”, Improve your forehand, backhand, and serve, Different coaching strategy to help take your game to next level, and Courts will be broken up by skill level.
* It is recommended that you bring your own pickleball racquet.

Program takes place at the Montville Community Park Outdoor Basketball Court # 3 located at 130 Change Bridge Road in Montville.
Lessons run on Tuesdays: May 30, June 6, 13 & 20 (Raindate IF needed will be 6/27/23.).

Sessions available:
- Session 1
- 5:15pm to 6:30pm
- Session 2
- 6:45pm to 8:00pm
Lessons will be led by Jake Weisz, Vince Del Viscio, Mary Beth Powers and Pat Vytell. Jake Weisz and Vince Del Viscio play pickleball competitively in North Jersey and are certificated by pickleball coaching international (PCI). Jake and Vince skill level is 3.5+. Mary Beth Powers and Pat Vytell plays pickleball throughout NJ. Both learn the game by teaching Pickleball in Phys Ed to their students.
The Resident Cost is $105.00 per person for the 4 (four) week program.
The Non-Resident Cost is NON-RESIDENT COST: $120.00 per person.
* NOTE: Non-Residents will be placed on a WAITLIST and IF ROOM will be contacted for payment!
