Montville Recreation's Fall Field Hockey Travel League
The Montville Recreation Department is looking for girls entering 4th-8th grades who are interested in playing Field Hockey this Fall.
The Montville Recreation Department is sponsoring a FIELD HOCKEY TRAVEL LEAGUE for Fall League 2023 for Girls Entering the 4th through 8th Grades in September 2023.
League will consist of two teams—Varsity & Junior Varsity.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: 1. Shin Guards, 2. White Socks for Home Games & Dark Green Socks for Away Days, 3. Sneakers for Practices & Cleats for Games, 4. Mouth Guard (must be colored), 5. Field Hockey Stick (The Rec Dept has some that are available for use.), and 6. Face Goggles—Players ARE REQUIRED to wear face goggles.

Practices take please at the Montville Community Park Turf Field and Home Games are held at Montville High School Field Hockey Field.
This is a TRAVELING LEAGUE !!! Away game transportation MUST be provided by the parents!

Season will run from August through October. PRESEASON is on Tuesdays & Thursdays: August 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 & 31 @ 4:30pm t0 6:00pm and REGULAR SEASON PRACTICES: Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: Sept 7th—Oct 27th @ 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
GAMES: Typically would be scheduled EVERY Saturday starting in September 9th through October 28th. HOME GAMES: JV plays at 2:30pm and Varsity plays at 3:30pm. AWAY GAMES: Game times subject to away team’s field availability. *Final Game Schedule TBD*
Coaches are Ana Tamborrino and Erin Hunt.
The cost is $130.00 per person.
