Why Go: Because the Japanese drumline promises to put on a show that you have never experienced before with a powerful musical performance that speaks to the heart of Japanese tradition.

2. Duke Ellington Legacy Band
Where/When:; Sunday, 6-8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Duke Ellington's grandson, Edward Ellington II, will perform with the Duke Ellington Legacy Band in their Shanghai Jazz debut. Reservations are recommended for this show.

3. Popovich Comedy Pet Theater
Where/When:; Sunday, 3 p.m.
Why Go: Russian circus and juggling star Gregory Popovich and his cast of performing pets will put on humorous stunts and skits.

4. Sweeney Todd
Where/When: ; Thursday, 6:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, 3 p.m.
Why Go: The Madison High School cast and crew has been working hard on this sinister Tony award-winning musical that has recently been adapted to the big screen.

5. Glengarry Glen Ross
Where/When:; Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: The Chatham Players are performing this Pulitzer Prize winning story about Chicago real estate agents competing in a sales contest. However, parents are warned that this play is not suitable for children, as it does contain adult language.
