and several other law enforcement agencies were on the scene near a Hook Mountain Road residence Tuesday morning where a neighbor said they were looking for an alleged home intruder. The neighbor said he believed a woman and her children were home when a person or persons allegedly tried to burglarize the home. The homeowner said she did not wish to comment. No further information was immediately available. Police did not immediately release information Tuesday on the incident. Police from Montville, Fairfield and the Morris County Sheriff's Department, including the K-9 unit, were searching the woods behind Hook Mountain Road around 10:30 a.m. Patch will have updates on this story.
