Support Towaco Businesses at the ShopHop on Dec. 7

A great event for all ages!

Come out and support Towaco businesses this Saturday, Dec. 7 at the annual Towaco Civic Association ShopHop 2024, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a day of special offers, contests, prizes, fun and more.

Everyone can start their ShopHop event at the Welcome Table (Quality Kitchen & Bath) OR anywhere along Route 202 between Village Market at the corner of Jacksonville Road and Main Road to the Red Barn Plaza.

There will be FREE parking in the train station parking lot next to Rail’s Steakhouse on Whitehall Road, at Apple Montessori, and the United Methodist Church. This year Santa and Mrs. Claus will be ready for photos from 12 – 3 pm at the Train Station Bus Station across from the Welcome Table (featured by RE/MAX Neighborhood Properties). There will be a free inflated obstacle course and free blowup axe throwing game compliments of the Towaco Civic Association and the horse and carriage ride returns between 12 and 3 p.m. ($3/person, kids under 3 free).

Sponsored attractions include a gingerbread bouncy house by Fun Time Kids Academy 2, a clown making balloons by the clock tower donated by Towaco Village Center, DJ Nick at Nite playing holiday music in the parking lot, sponsored by Apple Montessori, and carnival games will be provided by Enid Davis – Prominent Properties SIR.

Bring food donations (for the Montville Kiwanis Food Pantry) to receive two FREE raffle tickets for chances to win local business donations totaling more than $1,600. Raffle tickets will also be on sale: 2 for $5, 5 for $10, and 10 for $15 at the TCA Welcome Table at Quality Kitchen & Bath at 626 Main Road.

Kids can look for a Towaco teddy bear hidden at 13 of the 21 participating businesses indicated with an asterisk (*) on the ShopHop flyer and receive a treat. See the ShopHop flyer showing all of the places to visit.
