BURLINGTON CITY, NJ - South Jersey authorities are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that resulted in two homes struck by gunfire.

Shortly after 11 a.m., Burlington City police responded to the 500 block of Columbus Road for a report of gunshots.

At the scene, officers found physical evidence of the shooting, with two houses reportedly struck by gunfire during the incident.

No injuries were reported, police said. Detectives also located several discharged “cartridges and projectiles.”

This is an active and ongoing investigation, police said.
