National Night Out Returns To Moorestown With Night Of Family Fun

MOORESTOWN, NJ — National Night Out is returning to Moorestown.
This year's event — part of a national campaign to improve relationships between residents and law enforcement — takes place at Memorial Park on Church Street from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
National Night Out is an annual campaign designed to enhance police-community relations during a night of family fun. Thousands of communities celebrate it each year on the first Tuesday of August.

Moorestown held its first National Night Out last year.
This year, the highlight will be a Wiffle ball game between police, firefighters and emergency-medical personnel at Full Throttle Field.

There will also be K-9 and drone demos, plus music, food, face painting and obstacle courses.
The Memorial Field parking lot will be closed for the event, but street parking will be available.
