Police: Southampton Man Arrested for DUI, Coke Possession
Also, Mount Laurel Police arrested three teens for pot possession and investigate an attempted burglary on Putman Place.

Jan. 18
Arrest (drug possession), 1:16 p.m. — Police arrested Joseph Catalani Jr., 35, of the 100 block of New Freedom Road, Southampton, after he was stopped on Route 38 for a motor vehicle violation. Catalani was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police. He was placed in Burlington County Jail on $25,750 bail.
Jan. 19
Burglary (Holiday Village East), 3:40-8 p.m. — Someone forced open the window of a residence on the 200 block of Dogwood Drive and stole approximately $1,000 in jewelry, police said. Damage is estimated at $150.
Arrest (fugitive/hindering) — Police arrested Nathaniel B. Carter, 29, of the 900 block of Kedron Drive, Morton, PA, after he gave them false information in an attempt to avoid arrest as a fugitive out of Delaware County, PA, according to a report. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
Jan. 20
Arrest (DWI), 5:10 a.m. — Police arrested Shawn Stanton, 19, of the 400 block of Pimlico Way, after investigating a motor vehicle crash on Knotty Oak Drive, according to a report. Stanton was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Arrest (possession of drug paraphernalia) — Police arrested Katherine M. Steinmetz, 20, of the 200 block of Countryside Lane, for possession of drug paraphernalia. According to a report, during a police investigation into an unrelated matter, Steinmetz was observed with paraphernalia in plain view. She was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.
Jan. 21
Burglary, 2:19 a.m. — Someone smashed out the front window of a business on the 4300 block of Dearborn Circle and stole merchandise worth more than $1,000, police said. Damage is estimated at $1,000.
Theft — Police said someone stole two New Jersey license plates and a temporary license plate, valued at more than $100, from inside the Mini Cooper dealership on Route 73. The incident occurred during an unidentified time prior to 12:12 p.m. There was no sign of forced entry.
Theft 10:30 a.m. to noon — Someone broke into a locker at the YMCA on Centerton Road and stole two iPhones and cash, valued at approximately $1,000, police said.
Arrest (drug possession) — Police arrested Keven A. Larmond, 19, of the unit block of Pine Cove; Kyle T. Utz, 18, of the unit block of North Maple Avenue, Marlton; and a 17-year-old juvenile from Medford after they were found in a vehicle on Pine Cove while patrols were investigating a noise complaint in the area, according to a report. Larmond and Utz were charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing. Juvenile complaints were completed for the juvenile.
Jan. 23
Theft, 12:20-12:50 p.m. — Someone stole a wallet belonging to a Willingboro resident from the Laurel Hall building of Burlington County College on Route 38, according to police. The wallet was valued at $70.
Jan. 24
Attempted burglary — A burglar tried to break into a home on the 800 block of Putman Place, police said. The would-be burglar attempted to force his way in via the rear sliding door and the side door, but was unable to gain entry. Damage is estimated at $200.
