Driver, 83, Killed In Crash Involving Verizon Truck In Burlington Co.: Police

The man was making a turn when his vehicle collided with the truck, authorities said.

MEDFORD LAKES, NJ — A man died after his vehicle collided with a Verizon truck Tuesday in Burlington County, authorities said.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. in Medford Lakes, at the intersection of Tuckerton Road and Lenape Trail.

An 83-year-old Medford Lakes man was turning east onto Tuckerton Road from Lenape Trail when his vehicle collided with a Verizon truck that was traveling west on Tuckerton Road, police said.

The man was brought to Virtua Marlton Hospital, and he later succumbed to his injuries. His name was withheld.

The Verizon truck driver reported minor injuries and refused further treatment.
