Public Hearing On Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Monday

MOORESTOWN, NJ — There will be a public hearing and a final vote on a proposed bond ordinance concerning improvements to the waste water treatment plant at Moorestown Council’s meeting Monday night.
Moorestown Council will meet in a hybrid format at 7 p.m. Monday night. Council will meet in person at town hall, 111 West Second Street, while allowing participation via MSTeams.
The proposal calls for the township to set aside $690,000 and borrow $655,500 in bonds or notes for improvements to the waste water treatment plant.

Township Council will also introduce a proposed ordinance to remove conservation subdivision language from the township’s zoning code.
During the workshop portion of the meeting, council will discuss proposed stormwater management legislation, proposed changes to parks and recreation, and review a draft of a proposal to extend outdoor dining in the township. There are also six items on the consent agenda.
