Veterans Parking Spots Added Around Moorestown: Township Officials

Veterans in and around Moorestown can enjoy easier access to all the township has to offer with the unveiling of two dedicated parking spots

MOORESTOWN, NJ - Veterans in and around Moorestown can enjoy easier access to all the township has to offer with two dedicated parking spots unveiled earlier this month around the municipality, officials said.

The parking spots - one located at the municipal complex and one at Memorial Field - will be reserved only for disabled veterans, Moorestown officials said in a statement Dec. 9.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to anyone who has served,” Moorestown wrote in a social media statement announcing the effort.

The township detailed the project was enacted in order to show appreciation for the area’s valued veterans, which are plentiful in number. In fact, over 1,200 former students and graduates of Moorestown High School have served in the U.S. armed forces (you can find a full list of them here).
