When Can You Put Out Brush and Leaves?
The township will begin collecting brush this week and will stick to its second leaf collection schedule, beginning Nov. 26. Trash pickup also starts up again this week.

CLARIFICATION: Trash pickup starts up again this week as well, following the normal schedule.
_______________
The township has modified its brush and leaf collection schedules following Hurricane Sandy.
Brush will only be collected one time per district beginning Nov. 5 in District 1, and progress through Districts 2, 3 and 4 until it’s completed. This will be different than normal due to the fact that crews will move into the next district as soon as the previous district is completed and will not wait until the following week to coincide with a particular start date, and they will not return for material placed after the district has been done.
Residents should have their brush cut and stacked neatly at the curb (not in the roadway) in 6-foot lengths and it must be no larger than 12 inches in diameter. Brush and leaves must be kept separate and at least 10 feet away from storm drains.
There will be only one fall leaf collection, which will follow the schedule previously published for the second collection.

Residents should have their leaves raked or bagged at the curb by Monday of the week of collection.
The Creek Road compost facility will also be open to residents from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday for the drop-off of leaves and brush until further notice. The township encourages residents who are able to transport their brush or leaves to the Creek Road facility to do so.
