It looks like Moorestown’s two-decades-long sports tradition is in no danger of ending soon. As they have for 22 previous years, the girls’ tennis team once again captured the this year.

The team was just one of several Moorestown squads and athletes winning titles this year. Junior Quaker wrestler Niles Turner won his , the Moorestown Quakes won the , the boys’ lacrosse team triumphed at the , as did the , girls’ soccer won the , and field hockey player Mary Flick took home a .

For other Moorestown teams, though, this was the year of close but no cigar. The girls’ basketball team lost in the , while the rowing club’s Varsity 8 team made it to the finals, but . The Moorestown 8U’s magical season ended at the and the Quakers football team also fell in the .
