1 Dead After Car Strikes Tree In Morris County Crash
Authorities are continuing to investigate an early morning crash in Roxbury that left one person dead.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A single-vehicle crash in Morris County early Monday morning left one person dead and another injured, according to authorities.
The crash, which occurred around 5:30 a.m., took place at the intersection of Howard Boulevard and Mt. Arlington Road in Roxbury, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said.
Police said the vehicle, a 2003 Chevy Express van, was found off the main roadway and appeared to have struck a tree.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they found a passenger in the van who had died, while the driver was rushed to Morristown Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and authorities did not provide further details.
