$1K Reward Offered For Info On Sheep Shooting In Morris Co.

Police are asking the public's help in solving a shooting that left one sheep dead and another seriously injured.

HARDING, NJ — Police are offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps solve a shooting that left one sheep dead and another seriously injured in Harding Township over the weekend.

The sheep were shot sometime between 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 24 and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, police said. One died, and the other was seriously injured. The sheep were on private property on Cherry Lane, off of Dickson's Mill Road, at the time of the shooting.

The injured sheep was taken to a nearby veterinarian and is now doing well, police said.
