5 Things I Want to Do On My Vacation

Morristown Patch Editor John Dunphy is saying bon voyage ... for one week. Don't miss him too much.

Whoo hoo! Yeah! Whoooooooo! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

As you can tell, I'm really sad that I will not be working for the next week. In my absence, I hope you won't be nearly as sad as I am for this.

Don't fret. Morristown Patch continues, providing you with the coverage you have come to expect. I will be back in the saddle again on Friday, Feb. 18.

Until then, here are five things I want to do (or, not do) on my vacation.

  1. You Need to Know I Won't Be Answering My E-mails: For all e-mail inquiries, it would be best to contact Louis Hochman, regional editor of Patch, at louis@patch.com.
  2. You Need to Know I Will Try to Answer My Phone as Little as Possible: I will respond from time to time by phone, but I would like to keep it to a minimum. Louis Hochman can be reached by phone at 973-876-3761.
  3. You Need to Know I Would Like to Go Someplace South: But, more than likely, I'm sticking around here. Should you see me, don't think I'll put my hand up and say, "vacation" and walk away. I'm really very nice.
  4. You Need to Know I Want to Take a Spin Class: Work is a lame excuse, but really, when you work all the time, the last thing you want to do is more work. has some pretty neat spinning cycles so I might try that. Also, painting.
  5. You Need to Know Besides Louis Hochman, Colleen O'Dea is Behind the Wheel: O'Dea, formerly with the Daily Record, brings with her an enormous amount of knowledge, experience and respect. And, we are very happy she'll be steering the good ship Morristown Patch while I'm gone.

See you next week!
