6 Arrested In Morris Co. Hotel Prostitution Bust: PD

Four women and two men were arrested after an undercover prostitution investigation at a local hotel, police said.

HANOVER, NJ — Six people were arrested in an undercover prostitution sting on Thursday in Hanover, police said.

Together with the FBI, police investigated a case of potential human/sex trafficking in a local hotel (they did not say which one). Four women and two men were arrested on Thursday.

The following four women were arrested and charged with prostitution: Deja Berkelmann, 31, from Paterson, Erica Parenti, 35,from Easton P.A., Katherine Torres, 25, from Paterson, and Carolina Mittman, 34, from Townsend D.E.

Two men were arrested and charged with promoting prostitution: Rahi Majid, 22, from Ozone Park, N.Y., and Mr. Gerrod Martin, 27, from East Orange.

In addition to the above charged, Berkelmann and Torres were also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia, and Martin was also charged with possession of burglary tools for having a card skimmer in his possession.

Martin was taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility with an upcoming court date. The other five were released with upcoming court dates.
