Popular Spring Carnival Makes Its Return To Morris Plains: What To Know
The community carnival returns this spring and includes games, prizes, music, rides and more.
MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — Despite the chilly weather, spring has arrived in Morris Plains, bringing with it one exciting tradition: the return of St. Virgil's Carnival.
This year’s carnival is set to run from May 7 to May 10, with wristband nights on Wednesday and Thursday, according to organizers.
The event will be held at St. Virgil’s Church, located at 250 Speedwell Ave, offering fun for the whole family.

In addition to rides and games, carnival food and other entertainment will also be available.

"We are so grateful for our passionate volunteers who return each year to make our Carnival a huge success, and we look forward to adding new volunteers to our Carnival family," said officials at St. Virgil’s.
The carnival will be open from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on May 7, May 8, and May 9, with extended hours from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on May 10.
