MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — After an 18-year-old was seriously injured in a car crash over the weekend, a Morris County school community is coming together to support her and her family.

Whippany Park High School announced that they will be holding Molly Mack Day on Nov. 21 to raise money for the family of the 18-year-old soccer captain.

The high school announced the fundraiser on social media, inviting everyone to attend a co-ed exhibition soccer match at 6 p.m. at Whippany Park High School. There will also be opportunities to purchase t-shirts and bracelets in support of Mack.

All profits will be donated to the Mack family, school officials said.

Mack was injured in a two-car collision that ejected her from the vehicle and onto the roadway on Sunday afternoon, according to police. The crash, which was reported at 12:23 p.m. on the eastbound side of NJ 24 near milepost 2.95 in Florham Park, left six people injured, police said.

The crash remains under investigation, New Jersey State Police said.

"On November 21, 2024, we invite everyone to post a picture wearing these shirts and bracelets along with a message of support for Molly and her family using the #MollyMackStrong," the high school said.
