NJ Cop Distributed More Than 100 Items Of Child Porn Materials
Anthony Kelly is still employed by Dover police, suspended without pay, according to officials.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A suspended Dover police officer has admitted to charges related to the distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office announced.
Officer Anthony Kelly, 37, of Ledgewood, was charged with Distribution of CSAM and pleaded guilty on June 16.
The charges stem from an investigation following six tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The investigation revealed that between July 2024 and October 2024, Kelly had distributed more than 100 pictures and videos depicting child sexual abuse via Kik, a popular messaging app.
Kelly was arrested and charged on Nov. 26, 2024.

Kelly is still employed by Dover police and is suspended without pay, according to authorities. Dover police officials were not available for comment at this time.
The State recommended that Kelly serve seven years in New Jersey State Prison, and will be subject to Megan’s Law following his release, complying with parole supervision for life, officials said.
He is scheduled for sentencing on July 18.
