
In observance of the 82nd birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the 26th Annual Morris Interfaith Breakfast will take place 8 a.m., Monday, Jan. 17, at the Hyatt Morristown Hotel.
This year's theme is, "The Dream will not die."

The observance for 2011 marks the 26th year that Dr. King's birthday will be commemorated as a national holiday and the 41st year that the MLK Observance Committee has observed his birthday with a service of celebration in Morristown. The Chairperson and co-founder of the Committee is Dr. Felicia B. Jamison, educator and highly respected member of the community.

Working in collaboration with the Morris Area Clergy Council, the Committee has received praise from Federal and State Legislators, media, and members of the community for its faith, endurance, and commitment to honoring the rich legacy of Dr. King.
