Five Things Not Related to Snow or the Super Bowl
Tired of hearing about both? Here are some other things to occupy your mind.

So, there's still snow on the ground. And, yes, the Super Bowl is this Sunday. For the most part, these have occupied the minds, and mouths, of most people around here. But, not everyone cares about football, and probably most people don't care for the snow, or at least how much we have gotten (so far) this year.
As a sendoff to the work week, here are a few non-either of those related events to enjoy.
- You Need to Know About Board Games: Sure, most of what people call "games" these days involve a computer or a PS3/XBOX360/Wii. But, we're not talking about those. We're talking about old-school, sit in a comfy chair, grab a coffee and slice of pizza and enjoy "board games" games, from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight at Zebu Forno.
- You Need to Know About a 'Little Dog': This dog laughed, as in . The show, which , runs tonight at 7:30 p.m. Shows also are on Saturday and Sunday.
- You Need to Know About The Minstrel: Organized by The Folk Project, a non-profit folk music and arts organization that operates from the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship. From 8 to 11 p.m. tonight, they present Gathering Time, a vocal harmony project based out of Long Island.
- You Need to Know About Brian Leopold: Morristown native Brian Leopold will be performing on his acoustic guitar starting at 10 p.m. tonight at Hennessey's. While this bar near the train station will likely have the big game on Sunday, it will have covers of The Allman Brothers Band and Billy Joel this evening.
- You Need to Know About a Good Book: Yes, you can go to the , but you can also make a cup of hot chocolate, close the curtains to the nasty weather outside, turn off ESPN's 24-hour sports news cycle, and curl up to a good yarn. Like board games, they may not be on the top of everyone's list of entertainment options these days, but they never really went out of style.
