Free 'ZOOTOPIA' Screening, 'Fluffy' To Be Honored At Morristown Theatre

AMC Theatres looking to help Homeless Solutions after nonprofit aided 'Ticket-Taker Guy.'

MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The community of giving in Morristown is now coming full circle.

AMC Theatres in Morristown will host a free showing of Disney’s ZOOTOPIA at Headquarters Plaza on Thursday, March 10 at 7 p.m. with guest of honor Eric “Fluffy” Glover, the renowned and beloved “Ticket-Taker Guy.”

Glover fell on hard times in 2015, and when his story went public, the community poured in more than $65,000 to help him get back on his feet.

Now, the movie theatre is making him the guest of honor at the ZOOTOPIA showing and asking attendees to help support another local cause, Homeless Solutions.

When Glover was enduring his struggles, Homeless Solutions was a major factor in keeping him off the streets for a few months in 2015.

Volunteers from the nonprofit organization will be on hand at the movie theatre to collect donations. AMC Cares will match all donations up to $10,000.

Attendees will also receive a free popcorn and soda and be able to meet Glover at the theatre. Tickets are being released on a first come, first serve basis, and can be found here.
