Furnishing Solutions Celebrates First Day of Business

Looking to furnish your home and help the community at the same time? Now, you have one more way to do just that.

Furnishing Solutions, the 17,300-square-foot retail arm of Morristown and Morris Township-based Homeless Solutions, opened Wednesday, Aug. 29 at Powder Mill Plaza, Route 10 West in Parsippany.

"The FS concept is a win-win for the community and for HSI," said Susan Robinson, communications manager for Homeless Solutions. "Local residents who have furnishings they no longer need can donate them, while others looking to purchase can find quality items at bargain prices. All proceeds from the store support HSI’s other programs and services, and re-purposing these items helps to reduce the expansion of New Jersey's landfills."
