Halle Berry, Mark Wahlberg In Morristown Filming Movie Scene
The two actors dropped by downtown Morristown on Wednesday to shoot a scene for an upcoming film.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Downtown Morristown saw some star-studded appearances on Wednesday, as actors Halle Berry and Mark Wahlberg were in town filming a scene for a new movie.
According to the application filed with the Town of Morristown, the actors were in town filming reshoots for their upcoming movie, "The Union."
The film was initially titled "Our Man From Jersey," and stars Oscar winner J.K. Simmons, Berry, Wahlberg, Oscar nominee Jackie Earle Haley and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

The project is being directed by "Ballers" director Julian Farino and written by David Guggenheim (“Safe House,” “Stolen”).
The movie initially filmed around New Jersey last year, with scenes filmed in Jersey City, Bayonne, Kearny and Paterson. The project was also filmed in London in early 2022.

According to the production company, the film follows Mike, played by Wahlberg, a construction worker from New Jersey who enters the "world of super spies and secret agents" when his ex-girlfriend Roxanne, played by Berry, 56, recruits him for a mission for U.S. intelligence.
Morristown residents shared photos of the set on social media, with some of the crews stationed in front of Roots Steakhouse.
Morristown Clerk Margot Kaye also confirmed that filming will take place around the Morristown Green. Shooting is anticipated to end at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7.
Seeing movie stars in neighborhoods around Morris County has been a growing phenomenon, as more and more films and TV shows choose the Garden State for their productions.
Recently, "It Ends With Us," which stars Blake Lively, was caught filming scenes in Chatham Borough. Last year, Saint Elizabeth University was transformed into a movie set for an upcoming American biographical comedy-drama film, "Dumb Money."
NJ's Motion Picture and Television Commission keeps a list of all productions filmed in the Garden State.
