MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — Morris County Park Police made several arrests in local parks last weekend, including for possession of drugs and firearms. You can read about police activity in parks on Aug. 17 and 18 below, as written by the Morris County Park Police in their blotter:
-8/17: ARREST FOR WARRANT: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop in Roxbury Township. An investigation revealed Susan A. Ronidan, age 60, of Mount Olive Township, to have a warrant for failure to appear in Rockaway Township Municipal Court. She was released with a court date pending.
-8/18: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS: Officers observed a suspicious person in Morris Township. An investigation led to Heather L. Higgins, age 37, of Morristown, to be charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (suspected Heroin), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Hypodermic Needles. She was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.

-8/18: ARREST FOR D.W.I.: Officers executed a motor-vehicle stop for a moving violation in Morris Plains. An investigation led to James D. Allatta, age 34, of Morris Plains, to be charged with Driving While Intoxicated and several other moving violations. He was released with a court date pending.
-8/18: ARREST FOR NARCOTICS/PELLET GUN: Officers observed a suspicious person at the Mahlon Dickerson Reservation in Jefferson Township. An investigation led to Trey J. Moriarty-Jones, age 21, of Jefferson Township, to be charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Pellet Gun Rifle) and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He was released with a court date pending.
