MORRISTOWN, NJ — An exit ramp in Morristown will close for repairs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

One of the two left turn lanes on the I-287 southbound Exit 35 ramp to Route 124/Madison Avenue is scheduled to close for drainage pipe repairs on I-287 southbound.

In addition, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow, Mar. 15, the right lane on I-287 southbound is scheduled to be closed just after the Exit 35 ramp to Route 124/Madison Avenue for drainage pipe repair work.

When driving through the work zone, motorists are advised to slow down, exercise caution, and anticipate delays, or plan an alternate route.

Drivers who want to turn left onto Route 124/Madison Avenue eastbound will be shifted to the right into the open left turn lane. The right turn onto Route 124/Madison Avenue westbound will remain open.

The single left lane closure is expected to last about two months, officials said.
