Pedestrian, 86, Hit By Car And Killed At Parsippany Intersection: Officials

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital following the collision.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — An 86-year-old is dead after being hit by a car in Parsippany Sunday night, officials said.

On Sunday, just before 10:30 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Route 46 eastbound and Parsippany Boulevard on reports of a collision.

Authorities found that an Acura RDX had struck an 86-year-old pedestrian, officials said.

The pedestrian, identified as Gui Con, 86, of Parsippany, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Police added that the driver of the Acura stayed at the scene of the crash and was eventually brought to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
