Intruder At Morris County High School Caught By Police
The 19-year-old intruder walked around Montville High School in the early hours of Thursday, Feb. 2, until he was caught by a teacher.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A 19-year-old male was arrested after entering Montville Township High School early Thursday morning, authorities said.
Charles Banaciski III, of Bloomfield, has been charged with the unlicensed entry of a structure, a crime of the fourth degree, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.
On Thursday, Feb. 2, students and staff at Montville Township High School went into a shelter-in-place for about two hours after an unauthorized person was discovered in the building.

Surveillance footage shows that Banaciski arrived at Montville High School at approximately 6:30 a.m., and proceeded to walk around the building while wearing a backpack. After walking around, a member of the school staff discovered him.
Banaciski, who claimed to be a student, was confronted by the staff member, and after being questioned further, he excused himself from the building and drove away, Carroll said.

After an investigation, Banaciski was arrested at his residence in Bloomfield.
Police said that this is still being considered an active investigation.
